Worked Perfectly - Machine is back to factory condition
This kit worked absolutely perfectly. My X3 had been slowly dropping in performance and it was because each time the lid was lifted and those hoses flexed upwards, it weakened them and began opening the hose wall between ribs. Once I noticed the actual tears in the hoses I began researching a resolution and stumbled across these kits. Easy fix of serious problem

So Glad to find this, made my shamppoer work much better!
I received the rug doctor pro x3 from my brother in law. when first using it I noticed the hood was very hard to open and shut on me while trying to remove the waste bin, and both hoses had a slit in them, preventing tight seal,. this causes a lot of water and shampoo to be left in and on the carpets which was NOT acceptable. I thought I was going to have to get rid of the machine as they design was not good. . I found the conversion hose kit and many reviews stating how well they worked for keep a seal and for being able to open the hood without fear of breaking the hoses. I ordered them online and they came within the same week with instructions They were easy to install following the easy simple instructions. The end result fixed the seal AND hood opening issue! from busted hoses to improved design
Truth is, I have never liked how the hood was designed on this unit, where you could not open the hood all the way while filling the machine. Well, we lent our Dr. out to a friend, who returned it with broken hoses (I guess they really didn't like the design).
